Good morning, unless you're in the US, in which case it isn't.

Good Midday for everyone. Even those out of America, who have to do without museums and all at the moment.

Well, you know, we Americans don't really go for culture so it's all good in the hood, man.

Clearly my Gord mooning was a million times more original and awesome than your Good moaning; you really need to up your game in terms of the offbeat friendly greeting stakes.

On that note, good (something inspired, witty, unforgettable, life-affirming, humorous and yet at the same time beautifully poignant that I can't think of right now)... yeah, beat that!

Noddy was such a creepy weirdo, some children's tv shows were inexcusable.

Having woken up feeling wide awake at 1 this morning, I proceeded to read Filth until I finished it about 5. It was surprisingly good - one of the best books I've read in a few years; me not having read Trainspotting and initially being put off by the idea of a book that's written predominantly in phonetic Scottish lingo. I'll have to see how it compares to the film which I'll probably watch later tonight. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, good yet tired morning.

Morning. Love this entire "lets shut down the government" thing. It's really gonna get this war on terrorism started now that they managed to take the entire country hostage.

Good evening, I'm chuffed to bits to hear that the Republican congresspeople still want their paychecks!

I just saw The Cure live for the first time... something I've been waiting to do for more years than I care to admit so it is a very... good night.

This tops meeting Omar and Snoop while watching Prince earlier this year.

And getting my intern to ask 50 Cent to write I <3 No.9 on a picture of Grumpy Cat for me.

Only it didn't say No.9, it said ______, which is irrelevant to these random name droppy stories.

    Which are now over.

    Pleasant dreams, ladies and gentlemen.

I had to google him. And no... Omar and Snoop from the greatest TV show ever ever The Wire.

Good night... again? Though I guess technically it is morning but it's more fun to not play along with Smuel and never say it.

OH S***. Thats incredibly awesome. Snoop and Omar were seriously two terrifying characters who were also lovable in their own ways, which in turn made them even more terrifying...

It's cool that you can like, meet celebrities and such.

Michael K. Williams is pretty good on Boardwalk Empire as well.

To be fair, only Snoop was terrifying. Omar was quite adorable.

Anyway, I can't see how The Cure could top meeting those two.

I just started watching it again (gave up after about four episodes the last time; the set construction felt a bit wrong somehow and it put me off) and I noticed his about 5 second appearance in the first episode. Haven't seen him since, but I assume he's got a larger role than that?

    Good afternoon.

Edit: Ah, there he is again, in the third episode. Apparently I hadn't seen as much as I thought.

    Goodnight.
