He's in Dernholm. As I recall, you get very little for finding him. I don't even bother anymore, unless he runs right into me.
I've caught him coming out of the barracks. He's a member of the Elite Guard or Bow Guard. I don't think the game I.D.'s him unless you actually talk to him. He's kind of a jerk, too. I wonder if I could kill him and then lie to his teacher. I think I found him the last time before his teacher (Kietzel)[sp?] even mentioned him. If you happen to run into him, fine. But I don't think he's worth searching for. Unless, like me, you have to explore every little bit of a game.
Haven't done that yet. But do you really need to talk to Dudley to do the Bow Master quest? I mean, Kietzel's the Master of Ineffectual Stringed Instruments in Arcanum, isn't he?
That is correct - he is the master of the-combat-technique-which-needs-more-powerful-weapons... See my Rant on Bows subject for more detailed thoughts on the matter .
i dont think that you have to find dudley to become the bow master... all you need to do is to find some bow in the ruins of szabo.
You can also lie to him about finding the bow - instead pay 2000 for training, but no bow is worth 2000...then again, I hate paying for anything I don't really need in a game...
