Internet Hatred

So what things about the internet do you dislike? I'm thinking mainly memes (so many) but otherwise things that grate on you? This is what irritates me:

If this wasn't clear I hate the use of "This" as a sentence in and of itself. Firstly it's not even grammatically correct, I won't harp on about incomplete sentences but dear oh dear oh dear.

Secondly, there's so many better ways to articulate "This". For example "That's just what I would have said", "I couldn't have put it better myself" and "I would have put this first but they beat me to it". Just putting "This" is the laziest thing you could possibly do; you could put anything else and it could be more grammatically correct, more interesting to read and most importantly less of a complete and utter waste of a contribution than putting "This".

So what are your peeves about the rest of the dross that is the internet? Judging from the reception of my exclamation mark thread I can almost taste the cynicism and contempt for most of the internet on this forum.

People who think their opinion means something and people who use the words "obviously" and "logical" like they think it makes them smart. If you have to state that something is obviously this then it really isn't obvious.

It annoys me when forum posters have sigs that are longer than their posts.

 

I hate all of the people who post comments under a news story, and I hate reading their asinine comments, but I just can't help myself. It's like getting sucked into trash TV.

 

It's a bit silly when the comments are along the lines of "This was a pointless news story." I mean - sure, maybe it was, but not only have you read the story, you've also gone to the trouble of commenting on it. This implies that you're even more pointless than the story itself.

 

I always wanted to make a list of things:
- flashy .gif in avatar/signature
- native English speakers who can't discern 'your' and you're'
- the above for bazillion other pairs of words
- using 'le' in around 56% of all the memes on 9gag
- people on Facebook who beg for likes to save the world
- people on Facebook who like stuff to save the world
- annoying people making shitload of money off the horrible YouTube videos
- non-regular updates on web-comics I follow. Pisses me off!
- too much smiley faces in a small area of text
- my horrible wireless connection
- people making lists of stuff nobody cares about
- horrible web-page designs
- forgetting to check link name before clicking it
- wall of text. Enter, god damn it!
- lolololololol
- language filters
- lack of seeders
- people not getting an obvious joke
- death threats to Bieber
- missing a letter and unable to edit later on
- huge images on forums
- <=12-year-olds
- slow YouTube, loading my ABBA song for 10 minutes.

Serves you right for keeping adjectival agreement in your language. And after you did so well with removing verb conjugation too. Ah well, no language is perfect.
