1070 patch does not work well

You haven't worked in customer support before have you?
If you had you'd know that a patch is not made to resolve problems, it's made to keep the customers confused and the support people on their toes (going insane). Ahh...those were the days.

 

about patches

i can remember (not that long ago) when patches were released with a lot fanfare to keep people playing the game just before they released the next in the series to increase sales for it, but to the point i'm using the 1070 patch just fine on my athlon 1000, 512 meg, geforce2 pro

 

If only I could have the original game!! :sad:
Pity, that here can only be found the cracked pirate's damn thing!!
So the original patch does not work (as I do not have the original CDs), and the no-CD patched Arcanum.exe crashes on my system..
Strange, that both 1070 and 1074 crash, while patched by different hack-groups.
The only one stable is 1064 (no-CD patched as well)
