Need some help from some of the more experienced players out

Ok, I am a little confused on traps. (Yes again!) :roll: In the Schuyler's dungeon, which is full of traps, I am having a problem determining what the traps are doing to me. For example: I open an unlocked magic box, a cloud of green or red smoke appears around me and I see text that says "Trap!" However, I cannot tell that the trap has done one iota of damage. What exactly are they doing? I can't tell if they are taking away hp's, fatigue, or anything. Please help!!

You might try going into options and setting Text Messages I think it is to Verbose, although I don't know whether this will help.

I usually ignore traps since they never seem to do any significant damage. Except a couple in the Ancient Temple that keep on making me drop my sword and then I get to spend a couple minutes trying to find it since the dang thing is nearly invisible.

 

Set the text floats higher in your options screen. This'll make the floating text stay on-screen for longer.

Usually green traps are poisonous, red traps are... not really sure. Fire maybe? With the text floats higher and the Verbose mode on, you should see a short description of what just happened to you.
