My corner of the world is under water. How's the weather for everyone else?

I was just dropping by to take bets on whether or not Xiao is still alive.

She is in Tasmania, the floods are hitting Queensland the most which is where I am, though I am just south of Brisbane so all I get is heavy rain and no problems.

Big snowstorms are hitting the US now too, weather must be crazy all over.

You give her a twisted satisfaction when she ghost lurks and sees this stuff. Every time she is brought up or invoked a part of me dies inside.

    That includes this post.

Yeah, we've a couple inches of snow and like 10+ mph winds. It's rather interesting.

I'm moderately sure that she doesn't check it anymore. At all. And she's doing well. Sick, but well.

And here I was about to log in here and proclaim your death in mockery of the recent Gross incident. No matter.

Pretty shocking floods, though. Not something I ever see queensland recovering from. Why anyone would ever live there is beyond me.

Have had some minor flooding in tasmania too, weather is basically blowing in from the North so we're getting the dags from the entire east coast. Hasn't been too severe and seems to be letting up, but I do know of a shed or two that've been flattened in some areas.

Feels weird for the middle of summer.

So, all you Italians on the board... how's weather in Italy? :-?

Weather in Alaska is probably just as bad as anywhere. It's cold and dark and generally miserable. Like always.

    Boggles the mind, it does.

The weather in Boise, Idaho has been cold but mild. My kinfolk in South Carolina have endured more snowfall than I have lately. We're due for some snow showers soon, however.

I'm sorry to hear about flooding in your lands. I hope your life and property is spared.

Thanks, old chap. I'm perfectly fine in all respects, but some old friends are missing in action in the Lockyer Valley, which was ground zero for the apocalyptic death storm.

I hope they're okay, but overall I'm loving the novelty. Let chaos reign.

My area is completely normal. I almost feel disappointed to be left out of crazy death storm of doom. But not really.

What the Chill Dog said here as well. Missing out the Apocalypse is kind of disappointing, but staying alive has its perks too.

I think your homeland is simply making a tribute to your forum location.

Tons of snow, lots of chilling winds, but without the usual -20 or so for this time of year. All in all, much better weather than usual.

About 3 inches of snow on the ground, mid twenties. Not bad, for this time of year.

Montreal has little to no snowfall as of now. I am severely disappointed.

I'm at São Paulo, Brazil, and the rain never ends, some slidings ocurred and people are beggining to get desperate.

In Rio de Janeiro, some cities have disappeared and others are isolated without food, water, energy or communications, and the wind blows so strong that helicopters have been thrown in the nearby hills, it's chaos here...

The body count is currently 520 only in Rio de Janeiro.

Sorry to hear about the floods. Well, we have nothing but rain and circa -2 to +8 celsius here in the North of the Netherlands. (Fryslan) Only the southern provinces had some snow, and water problems.

You know what's worse about all of that? It's 35-40º Celsius here, and it's stuffy
