The bottom strikes me as oddly female, while the breastplate is obviously too flat... I dunno, this is confusing.
I always figured he was wearing leather pants with his armor. So while I never saw naked, I did see a very emphasized crotch...there's nothing there. No armor to protect the most sentimentally important body area, the groin. I know it's a magic suit of plate, but I'd feel just that much safer with some sort of steel cup.
Just to clear things out, I'm not saying that he is naked, because he obviously isn't. Well, unless he lacks genitals whatsoever, that is. More probably, though, he is wearing some skin-colored pants. My point is that normally whenever the swordsman appears, my gaze instinctively concentrates on his torso or head, and then the angle of my eye is all "NAKED CROTCH, NAKED CROTCH".
I always see the glowing sword, and try to look at the background, to see the shapes in the fog of war. It looks like there are a few mages looking over the guy's shoulder, or at least I think so.
Actually what disturbs me is that the cuise (thigh armor for those unfamiliar with armor lingo) seem to be super glued to his thighs. I've worn real armor in the SCA and it requires a suspension system (either from a belt or the cuirass[breast plate]). It seems that every medieval fantasy game artist loves to reenforce popular misconceptions simply because its "sexy". But you are correct Muro, this guy is just begging to get a lance point to his manhood and be taken out of the gene pool. Which, in the next scene where the "properly" armored opponent takes out his gun and fires...well...we know exactly what he was aiming at.
Oh wow, I just narrowly missed spitting my tea out onto my brand new G510 keyboard as I laughed... I say good show old chap.
YES. YES. I thought it was just me. I think the first time that caught my eye I had to reload it just to goggle at it in confused horror.
I've always assumed he was wearing buttless chaps made of Wargun skin or something. Glad he gets shot before he turns around. A codpiece would be appropriate.
Just realized I never posted in this thread, but Jesus Christ that bothers me every time I fire up the game.
