I was rather amused by Assage's declaration that the Gardian's decision to publish details of the case against him was "disgusting."

On a completely off-topic note, long time no see, Rain Dog Johnson. Planning a longer stay?

I would certainly like to but I have very little of any substance to say, so I tend to hang around silently like a bad smell, for example a wet dog. Or halitosis.

Well as long as you hang around, you're sure to find something to say. I typically wait until someone says something I can follow.

I mostly just read everything and decides that I have either no interest in participating in the topic or nothing valuable to add.

Coming from someone with the 4th highest post count and the highest posts-per-day ratio among long term members, that has to be good advice.

Indeed, while it is often hard to add something worth mentioning to already expanded threads, all it takes is to stay around, read the posts as they come and watch new threads emerge. There may be little to say in the first few days, but before you know it, you're an addictively active member.

As long as you have enough time in real life anyways. University and friends soak up a lot of time, rest is taken by football (association) nowadays.

Why have a life when you can post on TA?

For starters, pre-requisites to posting here are uninterrupted Internet access (which I get from the university), and breathing.

While biological and professional lives are justified, you're still guilty of having a private one.
