I need a fire obstruction

i just beat the game again, but with luggard bloodstone. i picked up a flamethrower schematic, about 10k in tech books, and even took sebastian to level 46 or 47 before i finally gave up and killed kergan. is there some secret to this blasted peice of technology or what. i figured since the flame thrower was advertised on the box being used it would be a little easeir to get a hold of... any suggestion???

 

Unfortunately, you will need to make the fire obstruction yourself. I know of no way to obtain one, other than making it yourself. No followers can make it, no npc's will sell it, you'll have to buy the intelligence and the schematics before you can make your flamethrower,.

 

hey thanks...one more thing though, do you know who can make it? the fire obstruction itself is a default tech skill, so i can't purchase a schematic for it. also merwin tumblebrook is suppossed to dabble with explosives, but i have a saved game with him at level 18 or 19 and he still doesn't know the molotov...

 

Either turn your auto-level scheme off, or make a character from scratch (not using an auto-level scheme!) and distribute your character points yourself. The true RPG way :smile:.

I'm really curious why would anyone ever use a level scheme... I've no idea how they were put in the game but It gotta be the dumbest part about the whole Arcanum...

Yeah, the only way to be "owned" is to be totally dominated in a multiplayer FPS.
