Order of patch installation

What order do I install the downloads in the "Game related downloads" section of this site? Assume that I am installing all of them. Then sticky this thread jerks.

 

Don't ask for help in this section nimrod.

 

You can't really fuck it up with the latest version of the UAP, since it checks what you have installed and reports if there are any conflicts.

Anyway...

1. Make sure your game is in English. We don't care for foreign versions of the game here on T-A and don't support them in any way.
2. Install the official 1.0.7.4 patch. Note: if you have the GOG version, it's already included.
3. Install the Unofficial Arcanum Patch.
4. (Optional) Install the universal level cap remover.
5. (Optional) Install the High Resolution Patch.
6. (Optional) If the game runs sluggishly on your modern hardware/OS, then add -no3d -doublebuffer to your desktop shortcut, like so: C\Games\Arcanum.exe -no3d -doublebuffer

The following packs can be installed anytime:
- High Quality Townmaps
- High Quality Music Pack: 320 MP3 or Lossless WAV (+WAV Patch).

And that's it.

 

So, carcanum is a no-go?

 

If you want to play CarArcanum or rroyo's WIP mod, then it's just the official patch + either mod + the high-res patch. The UAP won't work with them.

 

Hey Drog, first time i read about that and just tried adding -no3d -doublebuffer to my Arcanum shortcut but i keep getting "The name 'C:\Games\Arcanum\Arcanum.exe -no3d -doublebuffer' specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct".

Hmm, if there are quotation marks, then put it after them, like so:
"C:\Games\Arcanum\Arcanum.exe" -no3d -doublebuffer
