This has served my technically inclined character well, but I imagine it could work effectively for magic users. I was especially enthused about my sickly character because of how it would accelerate him toward a 10% bonus to all skills, but I don't remember seeing much of an improvement once I achieved an intelligence of 20. I doubt that subject matter itself will spare anybody from the ire of The House's constituents. Their level of boredom at present may, however.
