Lost follower / NPC / character

So Jayna for some reason got pissed at me and decided to leave my party in the wilderness. She said if I brought her sweet cakes she'd think about joining me again. So I bought some and went back to what I'd hoped were the exact coordinates of where we were when she left the group. She wasn't there. I've read followers respawn after time where you originally met them, but its been quite a while and she hasn't appeared. Does anyone know the time it takes for a follower to respawn? Also, is there a game editor that adds characters to your group or forces them to spawn? I haven't found one in my search as of yet.

Have you checked her house in Dernholm? I believe she usually returns there.

About Jayna and the other npc's who can join your party. unless you are in a town when they leave your party like then you are SOL.

 

Was sarcasm, however there is the chance that she could of been killed by some wolves or something while waiting to respawn, I don't know if that got changed because I still play the original version but it used to happen to me occasionally.

 

Gnah. That sounds like a problem. You might not be getting Jayna back.

 

I thought she waited at the university in Tarant. There's a lecture hall that doesn't seem to ever get used, and I vaguely remember reading something about her going there.

But I could easily be wrong. I've never had to go looking for her.

 

Just get someone else, she's useless anyways.

 

This, I think. I've had it happen to me as well. If you leave them in the wilderness they often do not respawn at their starting point. It's a valid reason, I think: they get butchered in the wilderness. Or bug. Whatever.
