GOG version: 1.0.7.4

I'm planning to play through for the first time with 1.7.0.4 + UAP + HR. The version I bought from GOG is 1.0.7.4, which on a tired night could be typed as 1.7.0.4. Google seems to think that both exist so I'm going with 1.7.0.4. Sound reasonable?

EDIT: This site's download section says 1.0.7.4 is the latest official, so screw Google.

PS: What do you guys think of the Arcanum Ultima ISO someone put together, and the "one year anniversary" version of it?

Since I'm referring to an ISO that a fan put together that happens to contain the full game, I'd rather not post a link or name the title. Warez and all. If an admin says it's alright I will, but I have a feeling other board members here may already know of what I speak.

 

I found it over at Pirate Bay. It's a warzed no-cd version of the game with the Dec. 08 UAP, the Lost Dungeon of Souls module, and quite a few other things added.

It may be warz, but the guy put some effort into it. I'll give him credit for that.

 

I've run into a conundrum. Nothing serious, mind, just a head scratcher.

I tried to use the level cap remover, but it uses a version of Arcanum.exe that still has the copy protection. GOG's version doesn't, so I don't have a disc or anything.

This is not a warez post. I'm just curious if there's any level cap removers that don't touch the exe.

 

I'mn't Rroyo, but I think that it isn't possible, because of the way Arcanum is coded.
