The Wedding Ring Quest

I found the ring before I got that quest, so I sold it - not knowing I needed it - and just can't remember to which trader in Tarant I sold it.
What other ways are there to get it back? Are there some cheat codes?
*hates to use cheats usually, but...*

 

AFAIK, there are no codes for Arcanum.

 

Then, my next question would be: How can I tell the chap I can't find his ring? So that I finally get rid of that quest?

 

Try tell him this sad news with axe, sword, hammer etc. :smile:
Maybe check shop where you sold this ring few days later or try lockpick shop's storeroom

 

I have noticed that sometimes when you sell an item to a shop they keep it and you can come back later and buy it back.

Also, you could try to buy a ring, or steal one what ever you fancy, and try to pawn that off as the real one. I can’t remember if that ring is special or not, but I am thinking it is a fancy ring which can be found anywhere. Clothing stores have them a lot, though. But please do not get mad if this last suggestion does not work.

Save your game and try these out. I am sure if the item is unique the storeowner still has it. If only you remember who you sold it to :smile:
