Hi In Fallout, if one ended one's turn with some unspent Action Points, they'd get converted into a kind of defensive bonus. IIRC extra AC, on a 1:1 basis. What happens to unspent APs in Arcanum? Nothing? Is it the developper's intent that fighters routiely drive themseves into fatigu, or is there a benefit to ending one's turn before that?
Nothing that I'm aware of, but if something actually happens, I too would like to hear about it. I'm not sure if I've understood you correctly, but if you're talking about losing fatigue points with each turn, that only happens if your last action in a round requires more action points than you have left. In Fallout 1/2 such an action was disabled, while here it is possible, yet at a cost of some (always two, I believe) fatigue points.
I Councur, I rarely use the turn based feature, and thus avoid that frustration. Although, usually when I start the game, I have to use the turn based feature to kill the briggands.
I quite like the turn-based feature. It makes battle enjoyable. ...though I am also the sort who enjoys taking several hours to do a single battle, and is known to just walk away for awhile in the middle of it to get a snack.
Same thing happens to me all the time. Although a snack turns into a meal that turns into another 10kg -.- Turn based is rather overpowered with throwing weapons, though.
It's still overpowered in my opinion... In my last play through as a throwing master, I was still clearing out around half the enemies on-screen in a single turn with the UAP. Well, I'm pretty sure it was the UAP. It was a while ago.
