It's perfect if you're no so good and have Magnus (or other good-aligned NPCs) in the party. Then they won't leave you if your rep drop to 0.
Damn it people, those things been posted so many damn times, it is not a BUG! It's supposed to be that way, that's why it says permemantly when you identify it.
No way! I found that helm when my mage was less than 10 level, and with this bug you can have +100 magic attitude so early, that it makes the whole playing not interesting (so in tarant sewers i kill 20 level mechanized arachnids being level 12 mage with harm, or that orc lvl 37, who fell after 3-4 harms).
also I found if you put the helm on once and kept on for a bit the increase to 100 is perm. you take the helm off and give to your next magic user and let them get to 100 also! makes play very easy and if you do this early in the game then loose the helm you will be able to make bacck up alignment drop easy :smile:
