    Virgil left me at the dark elves. I know he is suppose to be in the cellar of the Sobbing Onion. Only when I go there, there are 4 bandits - 1 ogre, 2 dwarves, 1 human and no Virgil. Is something suppose to happen before Virgil shows up?

    Virgil's dead on the floor. Kill the guys, open the chests to find a scroll of Resurrection. Resurrect him, and along comes Joachim.

    No, he's not there. I looked everywhere in the cellar. Aren't you suppose to see Virgil get killed as you enter? I don't see the killing of Vigril when I enter.
    Do I need to read the newspaper first? (where is that paper anyway?)

    BTW, you can prevent his murder. Just start combat immediately after going down the stairs, and kill all bad guys. But Joachim didn't show up when I did this (in fact in my game he NEVER showed up)
