    I don't care what you guys think, there's nothing wrong with this AT ALL.

    That's why I've decided to emulate this great man's gracious actions, throw caution to the wind and marry a -75 year old. I know there'll be adjustments, but I think we can work together.

    I liked the Comedian. Rorschach was a little too twisted for my tastes. Not that the Comedian wasn't equally fucked-up, he just did it with more panache.

    Barring the Islamic world and other vestiges of barbarism, has there been any decent system of morality in the past centuries that didn't frown upon pedophilia?

    Sure, Victorian values were both prudish and hypocritical, but the ability to cling to at least some basic standards is what separates us from the animal kingdom after all.

    I cannot confirm their views of humanity, but these two were probably the most consistent characters in the story. I feel Rorschach was the more consistent of the two, making him the most absolute character of the bunch. "Never compromise!" Who needs panache when one has absolutism?

    My favorite part is where incest and rape charges against her father are dropped due to lack of evidence.

    Apparently, nobody stopped and said "Oh, wait a minute, his five year old child is pregnant".

    Why do you think they pressed charges in the first place? Of course that's what they suspected, catch is they couldn't find any hard evidence to back up the case, and since in most sane jurisdictions people are free until proven guilty, the father got off the hook. You have to remember that this was before the age of reliable paternity tests.
