    I'm at the ancient temple, lvl15, on my way to tarant.

    I've just taken out the two Foul Spirits and the other nasty, and now the dog has started howling about once every 20 seconds.

    wtf?

    Maybe he likes the critical hits your getting. Maybe he's cursed/injured/something like that.
