Why the dog called Barnabé is yelling?

Sometimes and in some places this dog starts yelling like a wolf. What does it mean?

 

Nothing.
I mean, I never found what this meant.
I suppose it's more or less like what the other NPC say from time to time, specially during a battle.
Some silly comment you don't care about.
But I agree with you. It's particularly irritating and disturbing...
BTW, you named it "Barnabé": you're french, aren't you ?

Non, je veux pas dire que je hurle toute le temps (... quoique...), mais que je suis français...
D'ailleurs, je trouve la traduction excellente, même si les voix manquent parfois de conviction.

 

C'est vrai il y a eu un très gros effort de traduction notamment au niveau du vocabulaire utilisé. C'est très rare (je n'avais jamais vu une traduction de cette qualité auparavant excepté pour planescape torment)
et cela mérite d'être souligné.

No. It's the french name for Dog. Personally, I wouldn't mind renaming him, eather.
