    hey,
Ive been having some problems with arcanum, I was having some other problems with my computer at the time and so I thought that this was just another one of those. I then reformatted my hard drive. Arcanum still doesnt work, though everything else does, when I try to start it it gives me an error message: "game has caused an error in kernel32.dll". After I installed the patch this error message changed to: "game has caused an error in <unknown>"

    anyone got any ideas?

That kernel32.dll error I believe is actually a problem with Windows itself - you might have to update Windows or something. Perhaps you need the latest version of DirectX as well. I'd check out some technical boards or something like that - I don't think the games is causing the problem.

    Also check drivers

The Video and Sound board drivers may also need to be updated. An old one can crash the system with that type of error.
