Shopkeeper inventory editing help

I didn't know which catagory this question goes to so I'll just ask it here. I'm having trouble changing the inventory of shopkeepers. I've followed the instructions explicitly. The file is InvenSource.mes correct? In the folder arcanumdatarules correct? Now, the strage thing is I succesfully made the starting shop (the one right after character creation) sell the Barbarian Heavy Blade. However, nothing else works. My lemon tree's still only bear one+ fruit when I wanted it to produce a bountiful 10+ fruit. I could not convince the clothing shop owner in Tarant to change his shop into a schematic shop, even tho I assured him it would be better money. Could anyone provide some insite into this conundrum?

 

Take a nap, then check back in the morning. Trust me, it really works. ...and where in Hel's name are the bloody potato plants???

Never mind. Not only did I find the potato plant, I descovered that the trees and plants don't respawn their contents.
