Stuck in Quintarra

Help stuck in quintarra cant get in that one place with the three guards at the entrance to the passage to get information needed to move on in the quest. Also how can i get info to get me to caladon

 

You mean the entrance at the base of the tree city, or the audience with the Silver Lady? In the first case, you have to talk ot the guards first and they will let you in (although I don't know whether your race might pose a problem, I have only played humans, half-elves and dwarfs). In the second case, talk to Raven and she'll give you a quest to complete first.

As Sotris has said above, you must complete a quest for Raven (the elf to the left of the guards). There are at least two ways to do so. Please let us know if you would like more specific instructions.

Can't find Raven and the guards i can't seem to be able to talk to them they say stuff to me but i can't answer back

You can't get to Raven without first learning that the Silver Lady exists, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong (as I'm sure everyone will do).

 

I guess I did force myself in. I figured that as soon as you found out about Quintarra from Loghaire that that was it. What else do I need to do to get to Raven and the silver lady?

 

I'm not sure, but it's possible that, in order to get the story going properly, you need to complete all the quests that lead you to finding out the location of Quintarra. Did you complete the Stillwater Giant quest, to have the elf at Stillwater show you the location?

I had a similar problem when, on my way to Caladon by land, I stumbled onto the "mysterious location". I had no idea what it was at that point, but I checked of course... And found absolutely nothing. It was just like a random stop in the wild. It seems that you have to visit the places that lead you to it first, for the location to work properly.

 

Where do you find out about the stillwater giant quest?

 

Go to Stillwater and ask the elf that lives to the NW of the weapon shop about quintarra.

 

How can you complete the stillwater quest if according to that dr fenwick the stillwater giant is a hoax.

What did you mean cause i trapped that blue rabbit that supposedly changes into the stillwater giant but that dr.fenwick in tarant said that its a fake so i can't complete the quest and get the information without it right?

 

Don't worry, you're on the right track! Yes, that blue bunny was a fake, but -- speaking of fakes, there's someone else in Tarant with an interest in the Stillwater Giant. Not to mention two-headed cows, shrunken heads, and miniature steam engines!

H.T. Parnell the guy with the museum with the smart orc and stuff, i already thought of that so i purchased his giant from him. but how do you show that to him in stillwater its not part of the dialogue when your speaking to him.

 

Really? There should be an option to give the fake pelt to the elf in Stillwater. Could you check again and confirm that there is no such option (with the pelt in your inventory)?

 

No it won't let me say anything about the stillwater giant to him.

 

Weird, if you visit the elf (the elf, not the wacko cryptozoologogist) at Stillwater with the pelt with you, there sould be an option like "I've brought the pelt of the Stillwater giant!" or something.

Keep in mind that the elf does not actually take the pelt from you (nor does anyone else, so you can leave it inside an inn drawer or whatever), but after the discussion he notes the location of Quintarra on your map.
