And that's different from 90% of the threads around here how?

Sometimes we have pretty pictures or links. Nick didn't have those.

Nice reference, Papa. The ones that few people get tend to be the best... especially when they're scathing like that was. :)

Xiao: I really liked this version of the movie Nicholas Nickleby. I've not yet read the book though, so I can't compare.

    DF: Thanks. :D
I've been waiting patiently to use that since the picture was reposted and I saw it for the first time.
That seemed like the right time.

I once waited months to use a one liner on a friend. I'd heard it on some TV show. This was before cell phones. I was supposed to meet him at his house and I was running late. I was just heading out the door when the phone rang. It was him.
    Him: Where are you?
ME: You called me, you guess.
    Him:*silence*
It was worth the wait. Tasted like butterscotch pudding with whip cream.

'Even' those? In my experience their spelling and grammar get progressively worse. :D

I wonder if it's like race car drivers.
All the track jockeys I've know are rotten drivers on regular streets.
For one thing, none of them know how to make a right turn.

It tends to depend upon how tired I am. My grammar, spelling and punctuation are normally good though. I've spent enough years having it thoroughly drilled into me that it's pretty much second nature now.

What do you do, Xiao? I work for a newspaper. Every journalist I've known has decent grammar if they sit and think about it, but can't really wrap their minds around the idea of writing something slowly and without mistakes. :D

*chuckle* I'm actually a student right now, I'm doing laboratory operations in hopes of getting into a forensics lab when I'm done. I can write at speed with minimal mistakes, as long as I'm not exhausted. I've been writing for a great many years, and I've had a couple of short stories published while I was working freelance to suppliment my Centrelink a couple of years back.
