The greatest challenge in the past few days is to join TA and post something

How about no partners and no TALKING to other charecters. Of course you will have to use your already existing knowledge of the game to know who to steal what documents from but. . . . ;^) Hmm is it possible to get to Quintarra without talking to somebody? I know that you can do everything AFTER by just relying on text and books.

I think most people agree that Arcanum even on Hard can be fairly easy, and we all have tried in our own ways to make Arcanum challenging.

Eg. I'm trying to play a solo pure neutral thief (no spells, no technology). This doesn't mean you do not use spells, or schematics, but you can only use scrolls and schematics you pick up, and you invest 0 CPs in magic/tech schools. For now this seems fairly brutal - even wolves are giving my L7 character problems.

But enough self-aggrandizing posts. Just wanted to put some ADOM-style challenges up. What are the:
    a) fastest game-time complete?
    b) lowest level complete?

I suspect there will be different strategies for each style (eg. max followers for (b)), but just wanted to see what the various achievements fellow Arcanum players.

    Cheers!

p/s: Any other players tried the solo, no tech/magic style? What is the way to go for this way? Pure melee, pure talker, melee-thief, talker-thief?
