Does anyone know why my game will immediatley crash the instant I reach lvl 50? Incidentally does it also have something to do with accessing the options menu, which also crashes, sometimes, if I attempt to access it during gameplay? I have installed drogs latest patch and wonder if that has anything to do with it? Or is there some other patch that is required to fix this problem?
I would guess either your save is corrupted, or your install is. Copy the save files elsewhere, uninstall, and try again?
I suspect it might be a level cap remover. And I don't think I've got anything but the latest unofficial patch installed. Is it very possible I also need the official patch installed first? Or is this problem totally unrelated?
Which level cap remover is that? Does it come with any of the the unofficial patches because otherwise my game hasn't been patches or modded in any other way.

Well I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, installed the the official patch, then the unofficial patch and when I whacked something I hit level 50 and the game didn't fuck up. So that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for all help everyone, was probably corrupt game data.
