I'm feel honoured, and it is good to know that my drivel is useful to someone besides my (now-swollen) ego. However, I retract the implication that my ego is "someone;" Padded walls are not something I would like to see in the near future (although a padded floor might be nice...).

    Edit:
Oh, and before I forget, I've figured out what caused the characters with the same name to differ in their loot: Backround. While a human with no background named Quentin Phillipes and a half-elf with no background named Quentin Phillipes both get Charmed Leather Armour in the first chest, a human and half-elf, both with the Bookworm background and named Quentin Phillipes feast upon riches of the highest caliber.

Race does not seem to be involved here, but as of yet, I have not tested races other than human and half-elf, as I am launching three new websites in the coming weeks and the OiNutTek Time Compressor 3000 seems to be malfunctioning...

Oh, I hate it when those things go haywire. Incidentally, do you reckon you could maybe turn it off now? It's getting rather hot down here, and I'm sick of being sunburnt withing two seconds of walking out my front door. It HURTS.

So have you tried naming someone Zzark ze Zexay? I think that earns like a triple word score bonus.

Try cold showers and thinking about your grandma having sex. That should fix it.

Are you sure you're not the cause? You have been experimenting...

Yeah, with ice. If anything, I should be making it colder. (Hottest day on record for Launceston yesterday. Fucking oath...)

Same here. Holy shit, the last four days have been hell on earth. I saw a couple of kids crack an egg on the pavement and I shit you not, it started to cook. :-o

Vidio information display system or Get The Fuck Out???
What?? :ponder: I don't get it.

    Been there. Done that.
Be careful of the grit when you eat it.

After a few cases of heat exhaustion and one (maybe two) cases of heat stroke, I don't do hot if I can help it. When I moved to Seattle from California, one of the reasons was to get away from the damned heat.

Hot sucks. I'm moving either to Canada or New Zealand when I'm in my thirties. Both are nicer, prettier, more interesting versions of the country next door, and both have pleasantly cool weather and actual SNOW.

I'd let you move in, but that wouldn't work out well for me.

LadyPapaDog: Ahem! Why is there a short, hot and feisty young girl staying in the guest room?!?
Me: ... uhm ... I'll just get my things, ...

You don't know how good hot is. How great it is. Cold, snow and ice is hell on earth. I know, I'm used to it. You don't have to plough the road to your house every day, when it's hot. You don't have to waste time scraping fucking ice from the windows of your car. You don't have to worry about slipping and breaking your neck on the fucking ice when you take your daily walk, when it's hot. No blizzards, no malfunctioning communications. No deadly roads. Every day of winter, I long for summer. Every day of summer, I dread the coming of winter. I'm telling you, humans weren't meant to live in the snow.

I'm with Wolfsbane on this one. We had two weeks of snowstorms, followed by a week of flooding here. I love the area, it's rather beautiful, but by the gods do I hate the weather.

I'd rather deal with the occasional snowpocalypse than the weeks of 100+ degrees of heat.

If its cold you can put on a jacket, or set your neighbours car on fire. Cooling down in excessive heat is much harder.
