My new year's aspirations are always the same...to get rid of that damn spare tire. Looks like this'll be the year, it's smaller than ever and I'm already doing everything conducive to losing unnecessary adipose.

Remember, abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym!

Mine is to finally start squatting and cleaning. I hate both lifts, but they're both so incredibly good for you I couldn't resist anymore.

I hear that. I finally started doing the wide arm pull up. I have a pretty balanced diet with extra protein mixed in, but a lot of self maintenance can come from genetics.

My New Years resolution is: I'm not making any more resolutions. :)

Y'all have a safe one, and I'll see you next year!

Well I did well, I went to bed at 10 and slept through the whole thing.

It's 3 AM in the morning and I'm stranded in Obbola (where I've had a great New Years eve), there simply are no cabs available, which I suppose we should have predicted. Thus, we are three guys sitting in wing chairs solving world problems in general and Linux builds in particular.

Didn't you sleep through the last New Years Eve as well, Vorak?

A lovely party it was, but since they banned fireworks with steeringspins the fireworks weren't anything to look at really.

Oh well, see you all in 2010.

Well, I've finally come home. It's 5 AM and I feel strangely alert and spirited.

Figure that if I stare into the computer screen a few hours, tiredness will follow.

Happy new year all. Unfortunately I feel new years and christmas are just too close together to celebrate and after working a 14 hour shift I was in bed at 11. Still I hope nobody dies this year!

Happy New Year, guess being barely able to stand goes with karaoke. Man, that was hilarious. Not. My New Year's Eve party would've been better if there weren't karaoke. Goddammit, I want real music.

I celebrated the new year, leap second and all, and didn't fall asleep until 7:30 in the morning. Four guys just shooting the breeze in 2009. Now I have to go to work...and I just woke up an hour and a half ago.

I was watching the "Pelican Drop" in Pensacola, Florida last night. Then this morning it was back onto the bus with 36 teenagers. Good times. Happy 2009.

Watched "American beauty" at midnight, an hour later we got everything stee up and working and went on gaming for the following 16 hours.

This was followed by 15 hours of sleep.

Alas, they are still caught in a circle of violence there. Now all over the world, and even in Amsterdam some sympathy groups are protesting against the new attacks of the Israeli army.
