You can try killing her and then conjuring her spirit. ;)

Or you kill her and loot her mutilated body for the note she has in her inventory. Even if you failed that and, say, disintegrated her, you'd still be able to force locations = complete the game.

It's funny I've played the game many times and I've enever once gotten disintegrate, I just don't want too.

Evil is fun if you've played good too much. I've always played good on games, but I'm really enjoying my first play of evil.

Hmm. Interesting option. Loot the mutilated body.
I'll have to add that to the other things I do to her body.

From my experience as a butcher, every important NPC has an item that moves the plot forward.

Gilbert Bates has a journal, Wolfsbane already mentioned Raven's letter from her adventurer lover, and so on. Actually, most of them have letters on them.

Arcanum 2 could be tougher if a telephone were to be invented by then.

    *you kill Gilbert*
    *phone rings*
    You: Hello
Him: Hi, could you give it to Gilbert?
You: Excuse me, good sir, but I just killed him.
Him: AAAAHHH!! Don't kill me, I am just a worthless sailor here in Ashbury and I have no idea you have to sail Isle of Despair now, but I can sail you here if you won't kill me and let me live please and i can sail you away from there too if you find the black mountain clan and remember i do not know anything of this everything so you can trust me and i am not going to call police of anything
    *you close phone*

How about the dopey, 'too stupid to know any better' type of evil? Like Groo the Wanderer (way old Sergio Argones comic, if anyone knows about it.)

Special Person or Super Model could always play the innocent and well-intended character until inadvertently wreaking destruction, and then wonder why everyone hates them.

Nothing done by a caveman with dual katanas could ever be considered evil.

Maybe evil is overrated in it's destructive potential. Good intentions have done a hell of a lot more damage to this world.

I'm actually fairly certain that I failed to detect even a shade of coherence in the post above this one.

    Referred to Dok's post.

(Also, it was a webcomic quote.)

This karma system is pretty absurd. Telling off a bum is the moral equivalent of murdering him. And running moonshine gets you 2 karma -- hey, my good deed for the day, I can go slaughter two innocents now! And I got a whopping 30 for doing something I was going to do anyway; hack up spiders while helping myself to supplies.

For being a senseless jackass, you get the Shiney Evil Trophy, but for the quiet and polite subversion and sabotage, the likes of which ripple misery into the lives of thousands you may or may not have ever met, well...no evil cookie for you.

You mean "alignment modification". The designers didn't want copyright infringement accusations from Fasa.

Alright, that was a fun run; playing an evil non-combatant poisoner/manipulator. I really earned my banishment this time around, leaving all of civilization in ruins. Since I spared Arronax, the only ones who came out ahead in the end was Vendigroth.
