Yea, I just was hoping for amusing answers. Actually, Xiao, I've to check the T-A Bonus' Manual, but I believe you maintain the Con +2, but you also get the "Immunity from Lesser Internet Horrors" feat. I also've the "Craft Greater Horrid Mental Image" feat, but I had to go through a couple hoops to get that.

 

I have like, maximum charisma points.

I'm hoping to work my way towards the 'Arcane Mindfucker' prestige class, but getting the prerequisite 'Craft Greater Disturbing Mental Image' feat is still a couple of levels away. (It's the Player's Handbook II version of what you've got, I believe.)

 

Oh, sorry. I've been around so long my books outta date. I'll've to get that new one. I think now I need to put together a "forum character sheet" and display it in my sig.

*Menace is technically a "magic-user" class, and therefore I get a specilzation.

 

I think next level I'm going to be eligible for the "Jaded senses" feat. Grants a +4 bonus on will saves against Lesser Disturbing Mental Image and +2 bonus against Disturbing Linked Images.

Ah, that reminds me. I always forget to take the knowledge skills for some reason. I'll probably have to dump a few points into one or two of them next level. Especially since Jaded Senses takes 4 ranks in either Knowledge (google) or Knowledge (TA)

EDIT: You do realize that we're about two or three steps away from this.

 

Take Knowledge (Google). It has a far wider range of applications. Knowledge (TA) is handy, but very limited in scope.

 

True, but knowledge TA will give me the synergy bonus with Survival and access to some specialized flame feats, which if I want to enter the Master of Flame prestige class will really help. Though Knowledge (Google) opens up the Craft mental images line of feats as well as decent synergy with Perform and Craft flame.

Japes: I qualify for Uber-Nerd, but I like the powers of the Arcane Mindfucker more. There's nothing quite like puncturing the ego of a n00b with an Improved Flame Strike.

Alright, I like your characters... my only issue is a simple one: your 'level' is equal to the time you've been here. I justed Aug 3rd of '03, so technically I'm at level 5 now. There's few here who I think're the same level as me, and even fewer who're higher. I think most of those who're higher have... gone... from the forum.

 

Oh? And when did this rule come up, DF? I was rather under the impression that the moderators and admins took it in turns to DM us. Last time I checked, you were neither.

(Also, instead of how long one has been here, would not one's post count be the determining factor of one's level? One may play D&D for 5 years, but have only played 10 games in that time, while another could have only been playing D&D for 2 years but played 100 games in that time.)
