Arcanum:WIP 6.0 now available

Add Bunny, Maximus, TONGSyaBASS and Wolfsbane to the list.

Bunny is with Xiao. The rabbit even has a dialog.
Maximus is mentioned in the Uncharted Cave as Maximus Stonewheel.
TONGS is mentioned at the white magic shop in Tarant.
The Wolfsbane quest wasn't ready for playing but he's already in there. Hidden.

Although the Dark Elven Helm was a nod in his direction, I've found a role that would be perfect for DE - provided I can make it work right of course. Screw up the quest and you get banished - not to the Void but someplace almost as hard to get out of.

As for me - so far it's been mentions that'll be removed someday. "rroyo just has me standing here...."
I'm half-tempted to rename the Wheel Clan smith to rRoyo.

Also - I offered Theorel a chance to get in on this with the Tesla Pistol, but he seems to have declined.

 

If you have hard time adding your name to the game add it on a grave. There are enough graves with the same descriptions already in the original game.

Now the reason she's not moving around is because she was losing her dialog after sleeping.
It makes no sense, but that's what seemed to be happening.

 

Hey Rroyo. I noticed Faithe has the same dialog as Magnus, the whole "What things can you make for me?" but she has nothing to actually make me. Also, Percilla Penn and Faithe both have identical dialog. Just thought i'd mention.

I'll answer the second part of your comments before I head off to see what's going on with Faithe.

Long before I decided to add Vormantown to my hack, I decided I wanted a female gunfighter - ala Helena Sent from Car-Arcanum. So I basically cloned Priscilla to create Faithe. That includes the dialog.
There are a few differences here and there, but since I didn't know too much about properly creating a follower back then, I simply reworked a few lines to give Faithe a shady past and called the job done.

 

Are there gonna be more new locations to explore?

 

Yes, there will be. In addition to what's planned for Cattan, there's a handfull of adventures planned for the northlands, the area south of the Glimmering Forest, south and east of Kree, Veloren Island, and Isle of Despair.

Many of these will be simple little adventures to give me a bit of a break from the complex stuff I'm attempting, but will help fill in some of the large open areas of the map.

In order - Thieves' quests, new followers, and some more work on Cattan. Beyond that, I'm not sure. I add the little stuff as it catches my attention.

Edit: Looking for feedback about the Arbalest, the Reflection Spell and the Dark Elven Helm. Are they working alright?

 

Reflection shield is normal,Arbalest is shooting arrows and is shown as a rifle (in the normal screen, not inventory).No idea about Dark Elven Helm.
