Yeah that's right.. I havent tried the game in hard yet, only easy and moderate. So, is it alot harder than moderate? what would you use? Any hints on a good setup? I'm more of a techie but magickal setups would also be fun. Something more tactical, and not just melee/dodge.
Well, for starters, your TH is lowered. And spells do less damage, if I'm not mistaken. I recall that it took 2-3 Harms to kill a zombie on hard, and only one on easy. I can't think of anything else right now, if there is anything to think of.
With certain character builds it hardly takes up extra time. Certainly the infamous strong Half-Ogre build, as normal damage isn't affected. Quests do not change. I tend to play moderate simply to have also non-combat lives being fun.
As been said, spells do less damage on Hard and in my experience, so does physical attacks too. The manual has the following to say on the matter: This supports my claim above. Now obviously, a Power Games would choose Easy, as difficulty can be changed at any time but the extra Experience can not be gained retroactively. Then again, the extra experience alone makes the game way too easy (in my current game, I was at level 30 before reaching Tarrant, I had a real field day killing all the monsters that would spawn from the Portal found looking for the missing scientist in Blackburn I think).
Heh, that's what I usually do aswell Farming those void lizards... Anyways, good tips, Any setups that you want to share that you liked ?
