This feature is present on some items. Whats it all about?
For example, charged rings that i gave Virgil (he has 9 MA) have "Aptitude adj. chance of critical failure +2%" (or +1% sometimes when i re-equip them). Same rings on tech chars have 0% chance of crit failure. Is this an equivalent of magick's "magic power available" or something?

When a magickal character uses a technological item, they carry a risk of backfiring. The more technologically advanced the item, and the more magickal the character, the higher the risk percentage becomes. Likewise, techies usually don't receive the bonuses of magickal items, which tend to grow in potential with your MA.

Also, I'd appreciate it if you tried to compress your questions into fewer threads.
