I keep all my items in a warehouse (the one you clean out of rats) in Tarant. But the map is very big and I hate to travel just to pick up a stupid something. Where could I keep my things? For example Vooriden is a tiny map and there must be some barrels or crates. Would it be ok if I kept everything there? Or would game remove my items?

I keep my stash in the BlackRoot inn. I did the quest where the Inn Keeper lets you have a room for the rest of the game for free.

Tarant warehouse. If you don't like crawling across town maps, increase your DX, choose medium or large race, and learn teleport.

That's just not possible with a technologist dwarf :)

I use the inn room as well. I keep the unique items there. Talkign about unique stuff, are the ancients things we pick up at the Isle of Despair good for anything? Will I use them with a schematic? Maybe in Vendigroth ?

Okay here's my take on the issue:

    If you like to teleport:

    - Black Root in is great cos you always arrive just outisde it. Problem is that s ingle chest doesn't let you organize your stash.

    - if you have Rroyos WIP mod installed, is the Bond house just south of the Boil. Lots of containers to organize your things.

    - Also if you have RRoyos WIP Mod, you can try the haunted den just north of one of the villages he created. There LOADS of room there.

if you like to travel by boat a lot, the Warehouse in Tarant is great cos there's lots of different containers.

if you like to travel by Train, there's the small warehouse with two boxes just north of the station. Two isn't great, but it's better than nothing.

If your the type who likes to Wander, then I suggest Liam Cameron's place just outsideof Blackroot. There are between 4-6 containers IIRC and its pretty easy to organize your stuff. I usually use this place regardless, even if I have teleport cos its a small map and easy to manage your stuff there.

I don't keep a stash, because you don't need one. Just carry the items you need for the now with you and worry about future events in the future. Quest items? That's what followers are for.

I rarely keep anything in my inventory other than potions, notes and newspapers, the two latter I usually pile up in the inventories of my followers.

I'm an extreme ratpack in Arcanum. I pretty much keep everything I find (excluding useless technology things), because I have a feeling that if I throw it away it would come to use later on and I would regret throwing it away

90% of the loot you find is utterly useless. If you find magic items that you don't need right now, sell them. The same goes for every other useless item you find.

I usually like to "collect" (or steal) the "unique" items in the game:

    - cursed items
    - unique variants on items like Doc's pistol, Sharp Shooters Pistol, Long Range Rifle, Malloys Peacemaker, Suit of Resistance, etc.

I fins stashes handy for that and for keeping some "spare parts" for followers.

I use Tarant's warehouse next to the docks.Lots of chests and boxes where to stash your items.

I haven't found any of these items before. I hear about them but never laid hands. Could you tell me where to find ?

Seriously, find them on your own. Getting hints about every damn thing just ruins the game.
