... and i cant find the clan maug warehouse where im meant to get the ale from.please help. Also does anyone have any hints on how to defeat those flippin seathing masses and ore golems in the black clan mines.
Yeah, the seething masses are pretty hard. There are plenty of post relating to how to deal with them already in this forum, but porbably in reference to ore golems, cos it's the same deal on fighting both creatures. So you don't have to trawl (and cos i've read the posts through), here's my take on a recap: They are damage resistent (have a high DR), so attacks using fire/elec/poison work best Your weapons will be damaged if you hit them, but hammers and axes take less damage, and thrown weapons take no damage. With the seething masses, there is also the problem of the armour damage when they hit you. The worthless mutt can attack them, but it hurts his teeth (he takes damage) Most people take them out with thrown weapons, firearms or a spare hammer/axe they carry around. Hi everybody ... my first post ... I just got done with the Black Mountain Mines and I discovered that stun grenades work especially well on Seething Masses. It only took about two stun grenades for me to wear down and kill a Seething Mass with melee weapons. Beauregarde Hammersmith
