Game crashes when I walk on the world map!

    Got a pretty serious problem here... almost every time I walk on the world map, the game loads like crazy for a few mins, then moves forward about one day, then crashes back to windows. I'm using the patch, I have windows 98, a cyrix 700 processor, 128 megs of ram, 10 gig hd split 3 ways, and an NVIDIA video card with 32 MB ram. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I think I've fixed it...

    I'm pretty sure it had to do with using the character editor, though I'm not sure. I was fooling around a bit, at one point gave myself five levels, then took them away (I was trying to get that darn sword in the maze!). I reinstalled, put in the patch, erased my save game (sigh...) and started all over again. Seems OK now.
