Orc uprising

Hi folks!

How to solve the orc uprising quest? I haven't found anything useful in the forum yet. How can I manage to make Throgg leave the factory alive?

Hig Persuasion and talk to Councillor Babocks b4 that.

Babocks is standing oiutside the factory.

Go talk to him, he will ask u to talk to Thogg to persuade Thogg to meet with him in pte.

Then, go in and tell Thogg about it. U may need high persuasion to do that. Thats it.

Done. The next day u come back Thogg will be gone.

Just wonder, if u slaughter those guards outside etc, then go talk to Thogg, will he still get killed ?

 

He won't get killed, but you'll get a bad reputation in Tarant and Caladon if you help the Orcs. Bad enough that people will attack you on sight.

But who cares? Death to the bourgoisie!

 

Can anyone tell me what persuasion skill is necessary to solve this? At the moment I'm an apprentice at persuasion with 2 skill points. X

 

You need to be an expert with at least 4 skillpoints.

 

Hm, that implies that I'll need at least four more levels...Anyway, thanx. X

 

I think you need to talk to this gnome guy then talk to Throgg carrying with you some persuasion levels.

 

I managed to persuade throngg to come out peacefully but then he got shot dead as soon as the police sees him. I don't know why

 

You still need to choose the right reply regardless what skill you have. Choose the wrong one and the conversation ends and you have to reload game.

 

Actually, you have to have 3 points in persuasion, or expert status (which requires 3 points anyway).

First time I encountered this quest, I was a half-orc, and I led the orcs on a revolt in Tarant. Then Gilbert Bates attacked me, so I reloaded and left the whole mess alone. One day I will lead the revolt though...

 

Actually, managed to have Babcock give me the quest with only Persuasion at lvl 2 (apprentice).

If you talk to Babcock, do not complete the dialog loop. At some point, leave the dialog, and then restart it, choosing the line about "What were you saying about Mr. Throgg?". He will then give you the quest to have Throgg sneak out.

Not sure if you have to NOT talk to the police before that though...

somehow i managed to keep throgg alive. every time i talk to him i get another fate point :grin:

I dunno, everytime I get the quest I end up having to go in there and blast all the guys appart.

 

how do you initiate this quest?

Who's the 1st person you talk to? I've never seen Throgg inside or uot of 15 Ten Hands Alley, nor a mob there.
