    Hello,

I have a new game with an install of 1.0.7.4 and Drog Black Tooth's unofficial patch. When I accept the quest to help Doc Roberts foil the bank robbery and I enter into combat at the bank, the combat goes into an endless loop (with the green "flow" animation in the UI that normally shows when other combatants are making their moves). I'm a Miracle Operation technologist gunslinger, and after reading this thread I decided to name my character Todd Howard for a laugh:

but I'm using no cheats. This has happened with just Sogg and both Sogg and Virgil in the party in case it matters. Also, I feel obligated to mention that I've experienced this bug with the same save in both Parallels and Crossover, though I'm really hoping it isn't related to emulation. Has anyone else ever seen this bug? Is it one of those "reinstall everything" situations or is there any way to get out of the combat once this has begun? Thanks for any assistance.

without emulator and with stock game sometimes this happens. I fix it by:

hit Space bar 2 times real fast (toggles turn based and time based combat). it unsticks the combat but it gives opponents 1 extra turn.

Yeah, this happened quite frequently to me (just latest official patch, no emulation) when I move around a lot in turn-based combat. I think it's a bug related to an activated enemy going off screen... Just a hunch.

I think it's a opponent or follower that can't move into position and game trys to force it. mostly when your in a doorway and follower can't come threw to attack or something else is keeping them from getting into combat range.

if *shiftX2* doesn't work try *shift* then *F5* then *shift* again really quick, that will turn time based on tell followers to backoff then turn turn based back on. but *shiftX2* normaly works.

Yep, that sounds like a better match to my experiences.

One of the reasons people say combat is "broken".

I just learned to quicksave all the time, and reload when this happened...
