Favorite Games!

What is everyone's favorite game (RPG, Strategy, or any other 3rd person gmaes.)??

Mine are definatley the Fallout Series, but I also like Jagged Alliance and Diablo

[runs away at mention of Diablo]

 

legend of zelda 64. i dont think i have ever played a game that i enjoyed quite as much as that one

 

Planescape:Torment but my first love will always be Bard's Tale :lol:

Civilization for TBS
Elite for Space Sim
Archon for.. well.. What the hell is Archon? :smile:

 

Fallout 2 - as RPG ;
Starcraft - as RTS ;
Incubation and Half-Life - as 3D shooters/tactics ;
Metal Gear Solid - best PSX espionage action.

 

RPG Daggerfall
RTS Cossacks European Wars (Not a big fan of Genre);
3D shooter Thief series (others in genre not my type);

 

RPG - Fallout... 2!
TBS - Civilization 1 and/or 2
RTS - I don't much like them anymore, but Starcraft
FPS - Half-Life
MMORPG - There is no MMORPG.

mpFPS: Counter Strike
MMORPG: no thanks

howdy people, as i am new to this forum i guess it´s a good way to start by posting my favourite games. so here goes:

CRPG: fallout series, darklands(anyone remember that?), but i liked the story in torment and vampire as well. daggerfall was cool as well.

TBS: panzer general series, master of magic, jagged alliance series, ufo, alpha centauri;

RTS: they stress me out, so i don´t play them. :wink:

FPS: i don´t play them much, but back in the days i liked duke nukem 3d, deus ex had a nice story.

MMORPG: i dabbled a bit on a sphereserver but it just doesn´t feel like roleplaying to me.

 

well i think you ppl as the thread went on have elaborated a little on your fav game so im gonna bring it all back to jus a couple.....
I really enjoyed Dungeon Master and Chaos strikes Back
They were not my first fav games and im sure wont be the last but i think they were probs the ones i remember most....(damn i think i still remember most of the maps :smile: )

 

I liked FO, Fo 2,SSI´s both Dark Sun games and BG2 (though it had a limited replaying quality compered to FO and FO 2) best of RPG.

When it comes to RTS, Red Aler 2 was one of the better ssince it was very balanced.

AS for TBS Call for power and Master of Orion 2 are my favorites.

Is it a good game? is it more magicy and wizardy or is it guns and stuff?

p.s. Sorry, I don't play a lot of games outside of sports genre and fallout series.

 

Planescape: Torment is AD&D, but they "tweaked" a lot of the rules.

 

I see, it sounds kind of fun, Maybe I'll go buy it over the long weekend.

 

The Civ series (including SMAC), and the early Ultimas (III, IV, V, VI) are my all-time most classic faves.
