I've had Arcanum for AGEEESSS, and after playing it about 5 times it's getting slightly samey and im surprised there is a modding community, albeit a small one, could someone humor and old gamer and give me information on what worthwhile player-made mods are currently at large? Thanks in advance.

wait, sorry, i think i posted this in the wrong section of the forum, well too late now i suppose.

Welcome to the forum, The Krest!

There is actually a fair number of mods and a couple expansion pack available. These are available in the downloads section in the fan-made modules.

My personal favorites - besides Vormantown - includes Tol Guldur and Doomsday for the modules, with Car-Arcanum and Arcanum:WIP for the expansion packs.
One thing though - Polished Car-Arcanum is in with the Arcanum hacks.

Even with the A:WIP DATs unpacked, I've had no trouble getting the mods to play.

Depending on your familiarity with dat and patch files, you could move/rename A:WIP's files to play the other mods (I don't know if there are any conflicts with normal mods that don't include arcanum5.dat)

Another alternative (provided you have the hard drive space) is to install Arcanum multiple times, with the first one being for the stock game and self-enclosed mods, with one install for CarArcanum (which I think has an Arcanum5.dat and a .patch1?), and one install for A:WIP. That's what I do, although I also have an install for the mod I'm working on, because it involves edits of common data.
