NWN runs perfectly on my Vista rig. It didn't at one point, though. I bought a chinsy Compaq with pre-loaded Vista, onboard graphics and sound and the damn thing wouldn't even run Morrowind or NWN. It did, however, run the Fallouts and Arcanum (thank god). It definitely did not run Vampire Bloodlines. For Christmas I picked up a ATI Radeon 2600 XT and cheapo Audigy Soundblaster card (~ $30 @ Best Buy) and now my computer runs everything it swallows top notch...even Guitar Hero 3. But yeah, Vista will run FO 1&2, Arcanum, and NWN.
Vista runs pretty much everything as long as you have extra software... Even so; if you are choosing an OP based on whether it can play Arcanum, get XP. Vista was the worst thing that happened to my PC.
