Alignment stuck at -10

Won't go any higher no matter how many times I give money to beggers.

Even did the mine quest and gave the deed to the lady ( forget her name ) and alignment didn't budge.

I have been using the dark helm to increase my MA to 100.

I used the Dark Helm like 4 times or so and then donated a bunch of money to beggers. Managed to get my alignment from -90 or so to -10 but then it just stopped.

Is this just the dark helm doing this or is there some kind of issue where you can only increase your alignment so much?

 

Did you pick the Sold Your Soul background?

 

Sold Your Soul maxes out at -20 alignment, so it might just be a glitch...

P.S. I don't know the statistics of all the equipment in the game, maybe you're wearing a cursed item, or have one with you?

 

This maybe a dumb question but are you still wearing the dark helm?

The last time I did the dark helm thingy I used Arcanumedit to increase my alignment after and it stayed at +25 no matter what I did. Maybe a game thing.

Now I just use Arcanumedit to max my MA and play as usual. No worries.
