    im thinking about composing a background set of stories for my char as i eagerly anticipate our roleplaying story unfold? do you guys think that those stories would be unecessary, that i would be giving too much away?

    You don't necessarily have to be onboard the ship should that feel awkward. Just join in whenever an opportunity presents itself.

    So I just joined in the fun. Is this thing dead or what?

    EDIT: By the way, my character is an aged Imperial scholar/physician with limited ability in restorative magick. He is conducting a study of the longterm effects of volcanic ash on endemic species of Vvardenfell. Exciting stuff.
