Once I tried the demo version of an RPG. I do not fucking remember its name, and can only recall a single scene of it. It is set in a cyberpunk world; metal floors, high-tech equipment, etc; there is a corpse or an injured person lying on the floor; there is also a force field. As you approach the force field, a voice in your head begins to talk to you, somebody put an implant into your brain, the voice is either a person talking via the implant, or the implant as a personality itself. There is also some white noise the implant makes, I think in order to extort some action from you (it is painful, I guess). So, anything rings a bell to anyone ?
Firstly, how old is that game? Second, is it any fun? and Lastly, what's it similar to? It visually reminds me of FO2....
Isn't that a Fallout Multiplayer version? A fancreated mod that allows you to shoot down you pals in a Fallout enviroment?
Maybe it was bloodnet ? Except for the force field and the actual body on the floor it matches the description. There's an implant that talks to you and helps you retain sanity for some time, and the setting is pure cyberpunk.
Could it be Static? It's probably not, but I think it kind of fits your description (mostly since I haven't played it more than about an hour 3 years ago).
I think it was this game. Well, I was totally wrong about the forcefield; a little wrong about a corpse and the pain.
