Virgil or Jayna???

Running a tech. human and Virgil's healling is useless on me now, I'm guessing because of tech stat. He is not a bad mellee follower at the moment, but how does he progress as far as increasing meele skills. Would I be better off dumping him for Jayna instead, then I don't need to worry about putting points into herbal to make my healing stuff? Any thought would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

My alternative advice is you raise your charisma score and take both.

 

He may have max followers already, you know

 

I currently have 3 followers. Sogg, Virgil and Jayna. If I boost CH enough to get Magnus I might consider keeping Virgil when I go in to discuss the ring. But I plan on increasing my tech skills first so maybe Virgil will get dumped at that point.

 

Get your persuasion to 12 and get expert training in it. If you only have Voigool for mêlée, there are better choices. Chukka the ogre, if you like having two big bodyguards.
