Is the connection between Mr. Langley and his "infinite cash" considered "old news" already? Ronald Langley gives a large amount of cash when you ask him for an assurance, but he gives infinite gold coins AFTER when you return to claim the money 5 days later. Or am I just being lucky to have found such a person?
You must be playing Arcanum unpatched? Because afaik he only does that in the original version. Troika changed that in the patches
There's another one that works with the patched version. At least it does in my game. The cheese factor is pretty high, though, and really... cheating ruins the game. But anyway, if you happen to get a real Stillwater Giant pelt, you can keep reselling it to H.T. Parnell for $2000 a pop. This is how I did it: -Offer to sell him the pelt, but then decline and end the conversation. -Talk to him again, and there should be the option to "Conclude our agreement" or something to that effect. -He'll say something like "What agreement was that?" (I think...) -Remind him, and he gives you the $2000. -Keep talking to him, and there should be a loop where you can keep "Concluding your agreement" with him, and he'll give you endless amounts of money. It's cool at first, but ultimately lame to earn money like this. Kinda like continually raping store inventories right in front of the shopkeeper's face and reselling their shit right back to them. Taking advantage of exploits ruins the game. It's like the unlimited experience trick w/Ristezze in Shrouded Hills where you give him the camera, get your experience for completing his quest, and then immediately steal it back from his chest following the dialogue loop to keep completing the quest. Neat at first, but lame... So lame.
i agree cheating does ruin the game, especially since it's an RPG... i don't have to worry about Ristezze or anyone else in Shrouded Hills for that matter... :minigun: i conducted a raid on the town :minigun: it was fun
Besides its very very very easy to make money, specially if ur a tech or have Magnus.. Just keep making those second level traps and sell them , their components are cheap, and youll rake in cash at no time at all...Or better yet wait for those eyewear that sells for like 2k
No, I don't think so. At least, I don't think I had it on me when I encountered the Stillwater Giant. You just wander around the world map after you've done the quest to find Qintarra, and eventually it'll show up. It's *surprise* a blue bunny. Guess Hippington wasn't such a quack after all...
Just go back to the crash site-Virgil will be waiting there. Either convince him to return or kill him and take your crap back. Unless he left after T'sen-Ang, in which case all the stuff he was carrying is gone.
