Need more Ladies Footwear

Worn Ladies boots, thats it?
I admit i havent explored all the game yet, but thats all ive been able to find. Certain if i`m playing a female character i`d like more choice in my feminine footwear.

rroyo, TONGS; be sure to include more feminine footwear in your mods.

 

Mechanical Dagger + Worn Ladies Boots= Machined Stilettos.

 

And i`m guessing theres no whips in arcanum.

BTW: Xanaq - have you checked the tailor in Tarant yet? He's right next to the General Store. I seem to recall the stock game has him carrying Fancy Ladies Boots.

 

I cant remember, but I`ll check it out.
But, its still a small selection available.

 

The stock game has only two kinds of footwear made exclusively for women: Worn Ladies Boots and Fancy Ladies Boots.
I'll see if I can't expand that selection a bit. Maybe some sandals and moccasins?

Just to nit-pick: those pieces of footware are not strictly for women. I seem to recall a male follower or two slipping them on every time I wasn't looking.

Hmm, what about also High heels, some sort of thigh high boots?

 

Sandals are out - couldn't find suitable artwork to start from.
I did add three types of moccasins this morning - one became Mage Slippers.

I'll look for heels and high tops when I get home tonight.

If I develop a shoe-fetish from this......

 

This is gonna be so sweet.

 

I believe, that in-game footware is also not bad. When, playing a woman, you start a game, you ware used ladies boots, and if you stay a diplomat, for the RPG values there can be fancy ladies boots, which are sort of elegant. Cos I think, that when somebody decides to have a character going towards combat, he puts away elegant ladie footware - it wouldn't be too practical to run in high heeled shoes during a fight with a golem.

 

Thats when you use those knee high boots with steel toecaps.

So maybe something more technologic. Like fancy ladies boots with build in mini-rifles firing when the boot hits hard the ground. You tap dance, and your enemies are being masacred with a series of shots.
Don't know why, but I think you are having some naughty thoughts about the other activities with those shoes.

 

Here's what I've managed to do today. My eyes are hurting, so I'm calling it quits for now.

I have run into a couple of problems: The first is the tendancy of photoshop to shift the light colors into tan. This actually helps the suede but really screws with the other leathers. The second is the new shoes want to disappear into blackness when equipped - like the auto-lockpick sometimes does. Anyone know how to bypass that situation?

In the meantime here's the new shoes in the order they were created with Elven Boots for comparison. (I'm not happy with the thigh-highs...)

The thigh-highs look really out of place. The fifth one looks a little off, but the first four are looking great!

Edit: Maybe you can use the art for Bessie Toone's shoe in some way?

 

Although the boot looks a little ratty, it doesn't take too much imagination to see a steel tip on the end of the thing.


I tried to cheat and just do an image swap but didn't work. "Item wrong type for that slot." Oh well.
Besides, a single boot setting there looks funny.

 

I didnt notice that before. Are you converting all footwear to have a image of a pair or only doing it for new ones? Having every one a pair would be best, but would it be too much work?

 

More work than I'm willing to put into this. The new footwear gets the new ground art.
