I'd like to see the kind of Apocalypse described in the Bible. Where God comes down to judge all of mankind to salvation or damnation. That would be the most epic end, according to me.

    Ice age.

Hopefully that will kill humans and other big creatures. The ice age will last a while before it all melts again, and evolution will make sure the whole thing starts again. Earth ver. 2.0

Alien zombies sent by God surfing down to Earth on a meteor bringing forth diseases and an Ice Age amidst the floods and warhead detonations caused by the meteoric impact?

I'm afraid the Aliens will be zerg-like, and that purple organic stuff is really scary.

Nuclear Armageddon would mean that there'd be Deathclaws, and those, too, are scary.

    Water is scary.

Disease, or something, would mean that there'd be loads of dead people, which is no fun.

And a meteor would mean that I wouldn't be able to live after the end.

But the Ice Age actually sounds nice as it is way too hot everywhere, and I'd like to be able to take advantage of the fact that I've taught my body to handle cold by having my window open most of the winter. I also wrote a great story about a guy after the ice age which is available here: http://terra-arcanum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=11460

How about just the snap of someone's fingers making the universe disappear?

I snapped. I guess I just don't have that kind of power.

Or I do, and the current world is a recreation of similar surroundings as remembered by an even more powerful being*.

Personally, I want the whole meteor situation. I think that might be a good Biblical test, and it would bring about an ice age. Also, the shockwave of super-heated air would be very similar to a nuclear armageddon. Also, the caldera left over would be a difficult place to live.

    *Shut the fuck up, Frigo.

I rather like DE's take on the combo of things. THAT's what I wanna see. If mankind is gonna raped in the ass by some major catastrophic apocalypse, then why not get royally raped by everything at once!! ;)

Now that you mention it... :D

Since the method and all trait of the recreation would be indistinguishable from physics; supernatural lacks any reasonable evidence; and we don't know what 'contains' the universe, might as well be Dog or FSM or nothing at all, the best and most neutral choice is to accept that the universe is self-contained, and any phenomenon that occurs in it is part of its own physics.

That's a bit silly. That's like making a box that holds not only chocolates, but itself inside.

Wow, I looked at a thread where you flamed me earlier today, and now you're here again. Cool.

Though my posts used to be a lot more awesome than they are now. I wonder how I managed to become part of the staff here. The same apparently goes for DU: http://terra-arcanum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=5329

Yes I can see you pressing a button on something, it backfiring, and it destroying the earth.

Jinxed was very much alive back then, though I believe he was away temporarily. Notice that I posted in that thread?
