And you will take some small amount of pride in this DE, England was never really conquered by the French, it was conquered by the Normans, who were actually viking raiders who decided France, population aside, was actually a lovely parcel of land, and decided to settle down to live in the northern parts of it. They quickly realized that, while many a part of French culture is idiotic, latin languages are VASTLY superior to germanic ones, if solely because they don't give a sore throat by the time you're done speaking.

English, being every other language's favorite one night stand, still retains many a root from its germanic origins, but hey, at least I don't need to draw pictures over my 'a's.

for all you know, this one could be a hexagon. also, my newest tadpole is apparantly an acrobat. i had an ultrasound today, and it pushed off a wall and did a complete flip. so maybe it's a swimmer.
