HoL five years on, what's changed?

Hoho, a sign of how out of touch I am - I thought Jinxed might still be actively moderating some of the site.

Doing well thanks, Calis. No doubt the same is true of you, you've always seems pretty together. I don't really use forums much anymore. I have a job where I am very busy, so no time there and it never occurs to me in the evenings any more.

Been a bit mystified/peeved at the state of the CRPG industry. MMORPGs are not something I hate like most of you all, but I do wish they'd evolve to where they would have decent storylines and atmospheres. Decent single player stuff seems rarer than banana juice.

Spend most of my time thinking about the environment at the mo. Trying to work out if there's something meaningful I could do to stop the world being flushed down the bog.

Too bad it doesn't protect you from admins.

Welcome back Blinky, I don't know if you remember, but I remember that we had a flame war, and you won. Then I won when you accepted that you really were a polar bear, but I didn't say anything about that until now.

And I wish I had been here when Sheriff was here, it feels like I'm a new member here with all the weird talk about old times. (Sheriff's last visit here was wonderful, when he immediately started whining about the RPG Codex. Please do that again.)

 

Maybe he's like a a god from Black and White or something, everyone forgets about him and he loses power. I mean, shit, that would explain why he was such a prick half the time.

 

Well now you are making him out to be a god. Do you realise he is probably sitting home, some cranky old fat guy with a walking cane? And fuck if he comes back and sees this.......

 

I'm afraid I just don't have enough blood in me to make a passable sacrifice, seein as how I bled so much of it out this morning when I caught the tip of my finger in the ejection port of my pistol and smashed it with the slide. My poor left index finger has taken more abuse than any finger should have to.

I don't think the forum has changed much since I joined. Same song, different verse.

Why? I dont know, maybe he has a small dick and so feels he must compensate.
Why? I dont know! Maybe he was a bad sperm. Maybe his dad masterbated and his mom sat on it.
Who knows.
